Nordlogway earns the EcoVadis Platinum Medal and ranks among the top 1% of companies assessed
Nordlogway has earned the EcoVadis Platinum Medal with an overall score of 89 out of 100 and a 99th percentile ranking, the highest recognition awarded by EcoVadis in its sustainability assessment.
This result places Nordlogway among the top 1% of companies rated by EcoVadis during the twelve months prior to the medal being issued, considering all companies assessed worldwide and across all industries.
For Nordlogway, this is a significant milestone, as it reflects the progress the company has made in integrating sustainability into its strategy, operations management and decision-making processes.
From 58 to 89 points: progress driven by continuous improvement
In its previous assessment, Nordlogway achieved a score of 58 out of 100. In this new assessment, the score has risen to 89 points, reaching the 99th percentile and earning the Platinum Medal.
Beyond the increase in the score, the result highlights the work carried out over recent years to strengthen sustainability-related policies, processes, indicators and initiatives. EcoVadis’ methodology assesses sustainability management systems based on different criteria grouped into four main areas:
- Environment
- Labour and human rights
- Ethics
- Sustainable procurement
The assessment takes into account factors such as company policies, implemented actions, certifications, monitoring systems and results, while adapting the criteria to each company’s activity, size and location.
What does earning the Platinum Medal mean?
Since 2024, EcoVadis has awarded its medals primarily according to the percentile ranking achieved by each company compared with organisations assessed during the previous twelve months.
The Platinum Medal corresponds to the Top 1%, meaning companies ranked in the 99th percentile or above. It is the highest level within the EcoVadis recognition system.
An increasing number of organisations are incorporating environmental, social and governance criteria when assessing their supply chains and suppliers. EcoVadis is one of the tools used by companies to analyse and monitor the sustainability performance of their business partners.
Achieving the Platinum rating therefore provides external evidence of Nordlogway’s sustainability management system and strengthens the confidence of companies looking for a logistics partner aligned with their own ESG commitments.
At Nordlogway, sustainability forms part of the company’s business strategy and management model. In recent years, the company has made progress in areas such as energy efficiency, the installation of solar energy systems at its facilities, reducing the environmental impact of its operations, resource management, employee safety and well-being, and strengthening governance systems.
