New Barcelona Transport and Logistics Collective Agreement 2026-2028

The relevant authorities have announced that the Collective Agreement for Transport and Logistics in the province of Barcelona, which applies to Nordlogway, establishes the following salary increases, following the agreement reached last July between the sector’s employers’ organisations and trade unions:

  • 2026: +3.5%, retroactive to 1 January 2026.
  • 2027: +3.3%.
  • 2028: +3.2%.

This information will be officially published shortly in the Official Gazette of the Government of Catalonia (DOGC).

Overall, these increases represent a cumulative 10% rise in labour costs between 2026 and 2028, with a direct impact on the cost of providing our logistics services.

Treatment and adjustment of rates

Although the increase corresponding to 2026 is already in effect and applies retroactively, Nordlogway will exceptionally absorb its full impact during this financial year, without passing it on to its rates.

From 1 January 2027 onwards, rates will be updated to reflect the impact of the increases resulting from the 2026 adjustment and the labour cost increases established in the collective bargaining agreement, as well as the expected evolution of costs linked to inflation (CPI).Subsequently, in January 2028, the adjustment corresponding to the 3.2% salary increase planned for that year will be incorporated, also taking CPI fluctuations into consideration.

These adjustments do not represent a commercial price review or an increase in margin, but rather the need to progressively adapt our rates to the evolution of labour costs established under the collective agreement.
